Birshrestha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College was established on 1st January, 1984 as Bangladesh Rines High School for the children of BGB members under the direct and close supervision of BGB authority. Later. it was renamed as Birshrestha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College in 2011. The institution currently offers classes from KG to Class XII including the Degree Pass Course. The volue of the present students is approximately 8,000. The institution has accomplished satisfactory results in all public exams. Among the other institutions of Dhaka city, it has gained a unique place in terms of cultural and co-curricular activities.
